Lending Land
KW Urban Harvester is a partner of Sharing Backyards - an organization that seeks to build connections between those looking for land to nurture rich and plentiful organic gardens with those lending land.
We have no legitimated KWUH plots, only those that are lent to us by community members. We are always looking for more plots to tend to in the summer season. If you are interested in lending your yard to us see our interactive lending land and looking for land map to register your plot of land for use.
We always hope that those who lend us their land join us in the fun! However, if not, our return to those who lend us their yards for gardening, whether big or small, is friendliness, good humor, and above all, a share of the delicious yield!
Looking for Land
We encourage independent gardeners in the community to tend to their own urban farming endeavors. Likewise, through our interactive lending land map, individuals and/or organizations can post that they are looking for land. As well, individuals and/or organizations can also search through the lending land listings in the KW area to contact those in the community they can borrow land from.
